ANOTHER WOMAN MURDERED

She is Daniela Carrasco, 
'la Mimo', a 36-year-old 
Chilean street artist.
A few hours after being 
stopped by the military, 
Mimo was found hanging
 from a fence and displayed 
in a municipality in the 
metropolitan city of Santiago
 del Chile. Tortured to death.
The compañeras of the feminist
 collectives claim it was a 
warning to intimidate those, 
especially women, 
who are participating
 in the mobilizations of these 
days in Chile.

WHY DO MEN ALLOW THAT?

Who we are? 
We are the ones who swallow 
tears in silence instead of 
sleeping. We swallow very 
bitter toads and sorrows 
that take away our hearts.
 We are the ones who must 
always resist and keep 
the hut upright.
 I am very tired of seeing 
that the years pass and women 
are still not adequately 
evaluated for what they 
do at home or away from home. 
I'm tired of men who want 
super-perfect and fascinating 
superhero women.
 I'm tired of hearing that so 
many women die every day and
 no man does anything.

why men do nothing to 
eliminate violence against 
women?
Yet they have mothers, sisters,
 wives, daughters, grandchildren. 
Why don't they struggle to prevent 
a woman from suffering or being 
killed?
Why don't they actively participate?

HITLER

Hitler is the nickname a husband 
uses to define his caring wife. 
A wife who has made sacrifices 
for many years. 
A wife who for many years has 
cooked, cleaned, tidied up, 
done laundry, raised her children 
by giving up her career, and having 
nothing but love for everyone.
Hitler is the name that defines 
her husband after so many years 
and just because she likes to 
arrange things, have a certain 
order and try to keep her personal
 space.
After so many years a wife who 
does not even receive gifts 
and who must also suspect 
her husband's virtual betrayal, 
hears him called her Hitler!
