PORCELAIN

Why do you enter the silence and indifference in which you have enclosed me?
Just because you need a favor, why do I have to do this or that, go here or come there? Is it because the people you think are better than me don't have time for you now?
Come in and you will always be welcome, but not only when it suits you or because you need something.
If you want to enter, do it gently but with the conscience and honesty of staying there and without disappearing when you no longer need it. Moby's background song, porcelain, leads me to reflect on how important kindness and gentleness are in a relationship, of whatever nature it is. very often these two elements tend to be taken for granted, thus acting with arrogance and aggression. It is a bit for this reason that I am always puzzled when someone addresses me in a kind way, because over the years I have been led to think - after having met people who are anything but nice in their ways of doing things - that these two components are were extinct and that people did not consider them at all as values, but as things to depart from. It is precisely knowing this that I say that being kind and gentle with those in front of us is absolutely not a thing to be ashamed of but on the contrary, the person we turn to could be grateful because I firmly believe that the phrase "every person you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind, always. " be everything that comes closest to reality.
