I never would’ve associate this title -Come as you are- with hard-rocking sounds Nirvana.
I must give my nerve endings to settle down so I can float with the invitation
    No I don’t have a gun!!!
    Amen
Even at the end of the song there is still so much electricity.

Kurt, the lead singer of Nirvana, was a shy and good guy, too good for the demanding world of music. He was a simple person but did not have the family he hoped to have. When his parents separated he was very ill. In many songs his anger is due to the harassment he suffered from his uncle, to whom he was entrusted. It is an anger that all victims of abuse have and that they often express in songs. This guy couldn’t handle the pressure of rock star life and it was a shock to us all his death. When I sing his songs I often become sad because he conveys his interiority with these lyrics and I am taken by his sadness. In fact now I hardly sing to her anymore because I don’t want to feel sad too.

I was also deeply saddened when he took his life, or was it an overdose?
Thank you for sharing this moving content about Kurt, I am so deeply saddened, always, coming to terms with such deeply seated pain.
I remember that he was in a tumultuous relationship with the mother of his child then, at his untimely passing ?
So true one needs to calm down, talking for myself here, and just reflect on the lyrics and allow the music to carry me.
Thank you so much for sharing.
I’m going to look into collection of songs.

He shot himself with a rifle. Some say it was she, his wife, who killed him in order to inherit his millions. She is a very selfish and materialistic woman. She always wanted a lot of fame and a lot of money. She wasn’t interested in the music he made.

Oh he shot himself, no guns here, inconsistent and out of harmony with the song, come as you are. There was a gun. How painful to reflect upon his passing. The child must be all grown up now. Some say Courtney did it, how very tragic the thought of it.
        He so desired peace.
In this year alone so many creatives in my country died by suicide. It makes one wonder how some creative minds can endure and endear life, and others, they just can’t.
Thank you for responding, I appreciate.

Me too, I was a creative. Those were difficult years. When this world we live in still believes in violence and our colors are trampled on. When we creatives are honest with everyone and naive and sincere and people take advantage of it. Sometimes we lose hope of being able to see the sun again. We give love, we always give a lot of love, to everyone. Then instead we are treated badly by others, offended, attacked, destroyed. Sometimes I too am very fragile. Love makes me fragile but I love the same and I don’t stop. Unfortunately, other people often don’t love the same way.

Oh never despair Fairy Queen, I pray you keep your head high, always, don’t look down. You have such a special and unique way of speaking through your words.
I think creatives need to build a pool of therapeutic creative support.
Take a step back and also walk out of rooms where they are being taunted for their work.
Those who died by suicide in my country, is due to the aggression they come up against.
The public can be unduly harsh, those who just consume and criticise without thinking, they have absolutely no idea what it means, to write, direct, sing, produce or perform. People can be soul destroying.
Keep loving lady, keep writing, you have an amazing command of the pen.
