HEART PIXIE

I am what I am.
It took me years to be like this.
And dreams.
And you are wrong.
I could have been countless others.
That to find us all together, apart from a common and sometimes vague resemblance, many would not recognize each other.
I am what I can.
That may not be much, but never judge anyone for what they are not.
In his place, you could have been less.
And seeing yourselves, you would be doomed.
I am my fears, which are many and some do not even have a name.
And they are just a shadow, a gust of cold wind, a noise in the silence, a phrase repeated in the head.
I am my hopes, I am the road on which I walk, I am my horizon, which does not follow the curvature of the earth, but the less geometric one of my life, of my thoughts, of my alternating emotions.
I am what I am.
And sometimes I still flap my arms to try to fly.

INTO THE LABIRYNTH

The word "labyrinth" probably derives from the medieval English word "mæs", which means delusion or delusion. There is a similar term called “labyrinth”, which dates back to the 14th century, from the Latin “labyrinthus” and from the Greek “labýrinthos”, which expresses a building with intricate passages.
The adventure of the labyrinth has a meaning of symbolic death, a journey into the underworld, a journey into the afterlife. The way inland also symbolizes the way down at the same time and the victorious exit from the labyrinth can be compared to re-emerging from the surface of the sea.

In the labyrinth there is an almost perfect materialization of the initiation process. At the center of the labyrinth, the beginning is only with its inner reality, it meets itself, a divine principle, a mythological monster or anything else that can be represented by a "center". In any case, the center also means the place and the possibility of a knowledge so fundamental as to require a radical change of direction.

At the center, death and rebirth take place. The way to the center of the labyrinth symbolizes the way to the underworld, where the return to mother Earth is connected with the hope of a rebirth. The maze seems to take the form of a symbolic exchange in which death and life are the doubling of the same reality.

The labyrinth, as the most ancient cults show, is actually the graphic representation of the life cycle; it is an image of the supernatural and underworld world where higher mysteries and truths are hidden. A world towards which we necessarily walk.

INDIGENOUS PEOPLE

A handful of people are defending most of Earth’s biodiversity. Our survival depends on their strength and resilience. Instead of helping these people, our governments collaborate with regimes who are more than willing to infringe upon their rights and destroy their forests. Of course, let’s not forget this isn’t happening just in Brazil, Congo, Indonesia etc. it’s also happening in the US and Canada… If we manage to destroy them, we are certainly going to destroy ourselves.

When we talk about growth and economic development we rarely hear about the ecosystem services that healthy forests provide us. Water is just one aspect. Living ecosystems provide us with tremendous economic value, they give us oxygen, climate stability, food, they prevent soil erosion, flooding etc. They are often worth much more alive, than the resources that we can extract from their destruction. Protecting the forests is not just a matter of values or aesthetics, its a long-term investment. Help me spread the word !

MOTHER EARTH

LET’S GO BACK ON THE GROUND

When I look at my animals I see a substantial difference between us humans and them. We have lost direct contact with the ground. The upright position acquired gave us a different view but detached us from the ground, which was the origin of our being. If it is true that we were first fish and then crawling snakes, then to return to ourselves we must return to land. I don’t know if you have a garden or a wood near you. Take off your shoes, socks and get on the floor. Touch the earth with your hands, dig, rasp and start smelling, looking down. It smells everything. Use your nails, dig, tear, go back to where you came from. There will be scents that will come to you, you will see insects, things you don’t look at. Why men have stopped looking. Listens. Dig and see and listen. Our life has become all artificial. We have lost contact with the earth. We need to get back to the ground to get a better look at who we are, where we come from, and where we will go. On the ground, smell the smells. Do not have any perfume on you except our animal smell. Being on the ground and listening to ourselves, all of Nature, listening to the world from which we came and which we are losing. We have to go back to the roots, to the height of the roots, stay down, lying on the ground, remember what we have been because we have lost the right way. We have lost our true inner nature. We humans have become destructive, selfish, unscrupulous. Then we return to the kingdom made of earth and not to the concrete one in which we caged ourselves. We need to get out of these concrete cells. Returning to the open air, returning to what we had and what we are now losing. We have lost the memory of our animal past. We have built a civilization against human nature, against life itself on this earth. We are guilty of having been perpetrators of ourselves. So let’s lie down where the leaves live, where the insects breathe, where the flowers grow, where the mud has covered us for centuries and centuries. We return to our earthly origin and only in this way will we be able to rise up and save this world in destruction.

NOT ONLY A PLANET

In recent days, the Earth has been hit by the disastrous eruption of a volcano, and a lush island has been transformed into a sarcophagus. The planet is not a corpse, but a creature in perpetual boiling, in which an infinity of other creatures, including viruses, try to exist, arriving in the evening. In that same planet, rights, which we tend to consider definitive and extensive, are actually privileges for a few, among which we Europeans are. Outside our home this is not the case, in fact over 150 million children and adolescents cannot afford to play or do ten extra-curricular activities, because they are forced to work to support their families. Often dangerous or very dangerous jobs. We care about vaccinating all the inhabitants of the Earth, because it suits our economic interests, but nobody cares to wonder why our children would be entitled to unlimited happiness while the children of others have to live as slaves or worse. I wonder if any parent or teacher has bothered to read to their children or pupils the news of the killing of Breiner, 14, a Colombian environmental activist. Every year around the world hundreds of environmental activists – people who defend our common home – are silenced forever as we yearn for our kids.

THERIAN

I perceive the wind before it arrives and the atmospheric pressure,
I smell the air, the earth, I smell often and I also feel when the air is charged with energy before the storm.
When I move in a certain way I can feel the presence of another being like me thousands of miles away from me.
They are very strange sensations.
I can also see the faces of many felines with my eyes closed, which I don’t know who they are.
I didn’t know you could be a therian. I had never read this term before.
However, I always felt inside my mind a primordial part of me very much linked to Nature and the animal instinct.
Men make me feel bad.
Those who love me are always angry with me. They are always angry.
I feel my heart hurt. I feel very disappointed.
Anger is always present. We are the ones who at night spread powerful energy towards the heart of the Earth, towards the hearts of the people, towards the suffering world.
We don’t sleep, but we don’t play, we vibrate to send our vibrations to this planet.

DON’T LOOK UP

If one day, watching TV, they interrupt the programs to inform you that a comet is coming on earth what would you do? Would you believe who discovered this comet? Would you doubt? Would you go to the one you love to save them? By now it happens more and more often to read news about dangerous comets or meteorites. What attention do you give to such news? Do they shake you or do you remain impassive?
Have you ever known something important and tried to tell someone and not be believed? Sometimes certain things seem so strange and impossible to be true yet by the time you realize they are true it will be too late.

EARTH WAS A PARADISE

The world was so beautiful, full of animals, plants, clear waters, birds and everything was clean, clear, wonderful. Then man came and started hunting, logging, fishing, building factories, polluting, destroying. Man has a large, efficient brain but in his existence he has proved to be very stupid because in a few centuries he has made many animals extinct and has destroyed the environment not only his but of many species that are now also in danger of extinction.
Can we still say that man is intelligent? The only race capable of self-destruction. This is indeed what is happening. Not an implacable God, not an insane nature, not a set of ineluctable and unpredictable circumstances. No, simply a continuous series of actions and dull choices dictated by the anxiety of power and greed. This is what is changing the planet we live on and which, sooner or later, will no longer bear the weight of so much madness.

More than 1.5 billion disposable masks ended up in the oceans and seas of the world in 2020. A figure that should alarm everyone, showing when our new habits have a highly negative impact on the environment. Moreover, a problem that will not be solved in the short time, since a mask takes around 450 years to decompose.

Plastic was perhaps the most relevant technological discovery since the age of metals. Even the most polluting. But the fault lies not with plastic, argue the large multinationals that produce it and use it instead of pure possible alternatives. The fault lies with the end users (i.e. consumers) who do not recycle completely and correctly. And we could almost almost agree with them if there were no doubts: but how did we manage to survive before? Yet we were reasonably happy and we were certainly not in the Middle Ages, given that modern plastics have been synthesized for just over half a century.
The problem is that plastics would be made to last forever, but they are used to make objects that, on the other hand, are only used once.

COOK HEALTHY FOOD WITH YOUR CHILDREN

Does your little one not like vegetables? Maybe it depends on the way they are served. Vegetables can be brought to the table in many different ways: sometimes in spirals, in flower-shaped compositions or on an outdoor picnic.

Children experience flavors more intensely, because they have many more taste buds than adults. So pungent, sour or bitter aromas usually don't go down. One solution could be to preferably put on the table vegetables with a delicate or slightly sweet taste. Such as potatoes, carrots or parsnips. Do not overdo it with spices: a pinch of salt is enough to flavor the dishes.

To arouse more enthusiasm when going to the table, some original ideas for decorating can help us. On the plate flutters a butterfly of cucumbers, berries and courgette spirals, and in the bread basket there are colored tomatoes or grape skewers. You can also prepare fun animal-shaped loaves, just have molds. So healthy food is fun too!
Children may not necessarily want to eat fruit and vegetables during meals. You can tempt them with a nice colorful plate full of snacks left in plain sight. So your little ones can nibble on julienned peppers, grapes, apple slices or gherkins while they go wild in their games.
Broccoli, spinach and the like are sometimes not so terrible, if instead of being in plain sight on the plate they hide in sauces or flans. Even the most difficult palates will be more likely to accept healthy ingredients, if finely grated or pureed and then blended. Even if cooked vegetables lose some vitamins, it's still a good way to start introducing vegetables into your diet.
