FINGERS OF NATURE

It is fascinating. Nature is wonderful, she has managed to create beautiful things by herself, of perfect symmetry, all so calculated and precise. The leaves, the flowers, us, even if not perfectly. But it’s all calculated right? We were created to be imperfect and however we try to achieve perfection we will never be, neither physically nor morally. What then, who decides that something is perfect or imperfect? Which is right or wrong? What is good or bad? Who is stupid or smart? What is weird or normal? What is it that really makes it so? It’s just our idea. So theoretically symmetry does not exist and exists. Perfection does not exist and exists. All in contrast with everything. The stars are fascinating. They are very large, much larger than our planet and yet they are there, bright dots that shine in the sky, a hint of color in the dark, forming constellations, forming dreams, galaxies, galaxies of dreams. They are there in the sky, so far away, so close, that if you put yourself on your toes, it seems that you can touch them with your hand, but you cannot. The water, what the hell, is beautiful. The surface tension, its clarity, its necessity. But I don’t understand why nature hasn’t made it available to everyone. Then the matter, that everything is made up of everything.
There is no end of matter, a thing created first of all. The universe, which cannot be infinite, come on, everything has an end. Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring, Life, The Earth, Stories, Kisses, Friendships, Loves, Roads, Travels, Holidays, Nights, Days, Weeks , Months, years, sheets, notebooks, the most beautiful books, everything. And the numbers? How can they be infinite? They are not. There are many combinations, Infinite, But we manage to pronounce them up to a certain point, then we start with the astronomical unit, with the light years. And then nature has given us everything, even the possibility of hurting ourselves, it is up to us to choose what to do, it has made us totally free. Have you ever thought about all this? To fate? Exists? In my opinion, yes. A story written somewhere. Two people destined to meet, two people who will fail together, but not alone, two people who together will overcome everything. A person destined to be born to change the world, a savior on this unjust and infamous planet. But who created all this? And remember that the case does not exist, it is not that one day two planets decided by CASE to collide and create the Earth, right? You see, it’s all so wonderful, fascinating, twisted. All so beautifully beautiful.

PROGRESS WAS A GOOD THING?

I find myself wondering if really the society that man has built and is building, the technology he has developed, the answers of science, the law that protects us ... I wonder if really the wild life in the jungle is more cruel . Perhaps it is inherent in some men, that thought that creeps in and constantly suggests the echo of the so-called "golden age", but reading the newspapers, listening to the news, trying to understand why politics is so complicated since be made "on a human scale" - and certainly the average man (but I doubt that even politicians talk like that, in the absence of their lawyers ...) says so - it's hard to believe that an existence should in which it is clear in mind who to escape and who to trust (run away from the lion, caress the rabbit) is so terribly aberrant, compared to a society where you have everything you want, but a huge restlessness and the rotten blood.
Yes of course, if I woke up tomorrow in the midst of brambles and brushwood and had to run away from the hungry lion, I would be dead in less than half a minute, and surely having to pick berries to feed myself I would regret any supermarket.

But, here, I am not trying to say that man is demonic in nature or that progress is negative. I am only expressing my personal personal in realizing that this jungle we are in now is terrifying: an incomprehensible politics in which we, poor game, cannot understand the mechanisms or even glimpse them, a society that makes us stressed even on vacation , a collective anxiety, information that becomes a collective forum of opinions, subjectivity that becomes law, if you have enough power to buy a few journalists and have the right connections. Values become the object of ridicule and bullying, of the psychological one, of the slightly bad one. The believer becomes a bigot, "health-conscious" is almost a negative term, women are whores or puritans, drugs are a common good, the mafia is our neighbor, we eat antibiotics directly in the meat of the supermarket.
I'm allowed to doubt progress, but I'm not shocking enough to consider only one side of the coin.
What scares me is the human mind, the culture. it has always managed to survive: the inquisition, the censorship, the world wars. Even in Nazi prisons and concentration camps, the culture survived.
Will it survive the internet? Will he survive a world so hectic, so fast, so cruel, so ambiguous? to a jungle with rules expressed in decrees? If wikipedia tomorrow said that Napoleon never existed, that man is actually a bird, that gravity allows us to change color.

culture can really survive all of this, as the holders of classical music go to war with each other and are beaten by any pianist, writers scramble their strenuous writings to the most, beaten by teenage novels that will appear as best seller next to anna karenina and the leopard, painters and sculptors are ignored because the guy who ties a dog in a museum or who places himself as a sculpture is more "audience" and art critics talk about it more.
I am concerned about the voice of humanity: is it strong enough to withstand even this silent war? Or is this not a war, and this oppression, this anguish, this evil of living will remain a worldwide constant, and only a few will come out of it, like crazy astronauts?

NATURALIST

I am face to face with myself, how long it hadn’t happened, I had almost forgotten how it felt, listening to the silence, reflecting on one’s life, on the changes and transformations it holds for us. Many times I found myself being with me, and it never scared me like now, perhaps because I’m no longer used to it. And I wondered why something inside me had taken over, so strong that it made me lose air and cause sudden tachycardias wherever I was. Anyone who has a character similar to mine can understand me well when I talk about having become a sort of time bomb, whatever happens outside of me, I care, perhaps even more than I should, so much that I can’t say “no” to no one, so much as to cause me inner discomfort, so much so that I forget about myself, my time, my habits and become a sort of automaton that performs tasks for no purpose. A bomb that just inserted does not cause any damage and that explodes when you least expect it, making a clean sweep around itself and annihilating all fear. There comes a time when you have to say enough and take back who you are, the time comes to ask for help and to throw out all the poison, the time comes to control your “I”, to listen to it and rock it. The time comes to bring out yourself, to do it alone, while keeping the people who matter to you next to you and remain by your side despite everything, because who more than me deserves to feel good? Nobody. Without a “me”, there is no “we”, without a “me” there are no friends, without a “me” there is nothing. We are like lego constructions, we compose and break down as we see fit, we are able to disintegrate and reattach piece by piece to build the tallest skyscraper in existence, we are able to change pieces, multitudes, colors, we are able to great things, but only if we want them. I finish by making a wish to me and to all the people who, like me, are finding themselves: Always be yourself, face the changes that life has in store for you, transform yourself, take time out for yourself, listen to yourself, but never forget who you are and what you are able to do.
Fight for what you believe, especially when you believe it less because it is from there that you find the strength to go further and to know yourself, have the courage not to wallow in pain but to always find solutions despite that because it is NOT everything, life is full of crazy things and we often forget it because we tend not to live in the present, but we remain attached to the past, let it go! Believe that everything does not happen by chance and that the universe presents you with everything to make you evolve, you are in the process and above all everything is temporary! Be the first to be responsible for your mood and your actions, let’s stop blaming others and start taking our responsibilities where it is needed because the rest will then reveal itself. Have the courage to believe, you are much more than you think and never forget your potential or every little thing that can change your day because it is a step that every day will get bigger and bigger and one day you will turn around thanking you for have done so and you will truly live with love for yourself. Always love each other.
I have always had a good relationship with nature. Since I was a child, thanks to my parents, I have always had a great admiration for everything related to her. As a child I never believed in fairies or all that stuff, but I believed in the magic of the earth, of how a flower blooms … And I wasn’t bored, on the contrary I was fascinated by it. I have never endured the city, full of giants made of concrete; it put me, and it still puts me in depression. It’s like those giants are stealing my happiness. But it was over time that I understood: no one had told me about pollution, it was as if I had remained in a bubble, which did not let anything pass. But it was by changing school, to go to middle school that I opened my eyes. In elementary school, nobody talked to me about the impact of our actions on the environment. In middle school I also participated in environmental discoveries. And since then I have looked at nature with different, new eyes. And everywhere I looked, I saw garbage, pollution. I hate the fact that the sea, and beyond, is soiled by our stupidity. And the fish, but not only, suffer the consequences. Many people talk about it, but between words and deeds, there is an incompatible horizon. And what good is it, we dirty the sea and the fish without thinking that we will eat them … It’s incredible, we think we are very intelligent, but the truth is different. That’s right, people are the worst disease on this planet. But it is still not too late to save the Earth. Of course, only one can do nothing, it is the union that is strength. So let’s save nature for ourselves and for other living beings.

WALKING IN THE WOODS

Walking in the woods is a fantastic thing, it recharges you, it makes you feel your true nature, it gives you life again. We belong to nature and not to concrete. But we forgot about our green heart, which is why we are all sick now. The forest is our home. An environment made up of meadows, shrubs, trees, wetlands or not, welcomed primitive man. Being in nature, crossing the woods, was useful for our ancestors to get food. A primary need fixed in our genome. Despite a sedentary lifestyle and a safe home, our body, our immune system, invites us to be in nature, to take a walk in the woods. Our body knows that all of this makes us feel good.
Terpenes, this is the secret of the forest. Terpenes are chemical molecules that plants produce to communicate with other plants. There are about 40,000 of them. They use them to defend themselves from parasite attacks, to send odorous messages. Through the terpenes the forest speaks the language of smells. And our body buys it up to strengthen the immune system. And not only. Our mood improves, we move away from any states of depression and we know, if our mood is high, our immune system also works better. The terpenes in the air come from the leaves and needles of the trees and again from the bark and trunk. They are released from shrubs, grasses and undergrowth bushes. And again from mushrooms, mosses and ferns. Everything in a forest emanates terpenes, precious and incredible biomolecules that we assimilate through the skin and through breathing, therefore from the lungs.

Now you know. So you stay in the woods for a few more minutes. Are you OK. Fill your lungs with air. Breathe and this time really, breathe and choose to feed yourself with a dose of air full of what makes you feel good. Your immune system reads, decodes and copes with any external attack just like a tree would because it is in the woods that you have your roots. Home.
All fables take place in the woods, the best known and the individual ones, of each of us. Those who choose to walk in the woods want to live their own fairy tale, looking for that inner freedom that makes them the master of their own life and dreaming of acting like trees, birds and deer, which in their simplicity live above everything. When you go deep into the woods you leave behind the noises of civilization. Venturing completely alone is a unique experience that we can offer ourselves, with that mixture of fear and a state of alert that are mixed with the pleasure of daring to challenge the atavistic fears that we carry within us since we were children. Going deeper and deeper into the trees, and closing your eyes, you can hear the heartbeat of the forest play in unison with your own.
Human beings become inhumane when they turn away from nature. They become numb. They become sad and bored. Living in concrete houses has killed the energy of human beings. They have shelter but no longer feel any joy. They are trapped in sterile cages and become sterile. Nature is destroyed and man does not understand that destroying it means destroying himself.
